What a Wonderful World
By Louis Armstrong

Tomorrow is my Granddad's 83rd birthday. Unfortunately he won't be with us to celebrate this year. In memory to him, my Song Sunday this week is What a Wonderful World by Louis Armstrong. A favourite song and artist of my Granddad. We all miss you. Happy birthday!

A Drop in the Ocean
by Ron Pope

This song is without a doubt one of my favourite songs of all time. I first heard it on an episode of Vampire Diaries and had to download it. I love the emotion behind the song, I love Ron Pope's voice and I just love the song. When I finally get enough time in a studio on my own I have choreography in my head that I just can't wait to try out against this song.

Song Sunday - I like to Move It

I like to Move It - Madagascar

I like to move it, move it. I can't stop singing this song this week. We were learning a dance to Crazy Stupid Love at rehearsal the other night and, after a great suggestion from Victoria, we ended up practicing to this and it's never left my head since. Great song to make you happy, and a great film also.

Ed Sheeran - Don't

I'm not the biggest Ed Sheeran fan, I tend to find it takes me a while to get into his songs when they get released and this one was no different. It grew on me at dance as we did a core exercise routine to it each week and has now become my core work song. If I'm doing core exercises in the house, at dance or at the gym this is the song I use for motivation.

Meghan Trainor - All About That Bass

I love this song so much at the moment. I constantly have it on in the car and sing a long to it all the. She made it to No1 in America, and I'm pretty sure she'll make it to No1 in the UK this weekend too. Great song from someone I'm sure the UK will be hearing more from in the future.

Song Sunday - Bang Bang

Jessie J, Ariana Grande, Nicki Minaj - Bang Bang

My current favourite happy song! This song is very catchy, and if I hear it on the way to work I find myself singing it all day. But it makes me smile, and makes me want to get up and dance. What more can you want from a song?

Sam Smith - How Will I know?

This song made me fall in love with Sam Smith. Such a beautiful version of a brilliant song. My lovely dance teacher introduced me to this with an amazing routine. Beautifully inspiring, and ideal easy listening for a lazy Sunday afternoon.

Day 76 - Songs that make you smile

After waiting so long to watch Frozen, it's now one of my favourite films and I can't stop singing the songs. I downloaded 'Do you wanna build a snowman?' on my iPhone this morning and listened to it on the way to work this morning, it puts a smile on my face and because it's so catchy I didn't stop singing it in my head all morning. Little things that put a smile on your face do make the day a lot better.

Day 75 - Kindness

I'm still struggling to find things to be happy about at the moment. I'm distracting myself with constant revision, just because I don't really know what else to do. But one thing that has made me smile is the kindness of my boyfriend who has been amazing all weekend. That and his rendition of "do you want to build a snowman" are one of the few things to make me smile.

I'm hoping dancing will cheer me up too, but we'll see how it goes.

Day 56 - Frozen

Because I love it so much, today's happy day deserved a post on it's own rather than being combined with my Weigh In posting.

I'm a bit behind the rest of the world, but today I finally got to watch frozen. and I LOVE IT.

What an amazing film. A great story, some great truths throughout, and amazing songs.

I'll admit, prior to watching it I thought everyone was being a bit over the top about the whole thing, but I'm in total agreement with everyone. An amazing film. Possibly the best Disney princess film for a while now.

Now...time to go sing 'Let it Go' over and over again.
